An overview of candidate scoring and auto‑screening.

Written by Lance Baker

Candidate scoring and auto‑screening support consistent and efficient candidate selection by automatically assessing applications against predefined criteria.

Scoring is applied to introduction or bio questions within the application process, allowing candidates to be evaluated before progressing through the workflow.

What it does

  • Enables scoring on introduction or bio questions in the application process

  • Enables configurable automatic screening rules during candidate selection

  • Allows the system to automatically reject candidates who do not meet required criteria

How it works

  1. Candidates complete application questions, such as introduction or bio questions.

  2. Each response is assigned a score based on predefined criteria.

  3. The system evaluates total or threshold scores.

  4. If the criteria are not met:

    • The candidate is automatically rejected.

    • The workflow progresses without manual intervention.
