Amending email templates

Update the subject line and body content of existing email templates in Access Recruit.

Email templates control the automated and manual communications sent from Access Recruit ATS. Existing templates can be amended to update wording, formatting, or subject lines where changes are required.

Only users with Super User access can make changes to templates.

Update an existing email template

  1. Click Config, then click Templates.

  2. Click Communication Templates.

  3. Either:

    • Click Edit at the far right of the template row, or

    • Click the template name, then click Edit in the top‑right corner.

  4. Update the Message Subject and Message Body as required.

  5. Click Update Communication Template.

Changes are applied immediately.

📌 Note: Attachments cannot be added to communication templates.

If a required email template is not available, a new template can be requested through consultancy services.
